The Decemberists poster from a 2011 show. Amazing beauty. Now I love Carson Ellis who usually designs all of the artwork for the band, but this one is truly spectacular. The Decemberists really are my favorite band, and I listen to them a lot while designing. Carson & Colin even wrote a book - Wildwood Chronicals. This week, I was in Dallas and got to see the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. It was breath-taking. I have worshipped that man for about 20 years and to see his life’s work in one space was remarkable. Of course I wasn’t allowed to take pictures. But Dream Sequins was.
